Almond Milk Porridge Recipe

Hi guys!

My main breakfast as part of Weight Watchers is my Almond Milk Porridge. I thought I would share the recipe with you today. It’s really easy to make and only takes about 5 minutes to cook.

You will need:

Scales (preferably electrical)

Non-stick pan

Wooden spoon

Bowl

30 to 50g Porridge oats

150-200ml Alpro Almond Milk

1 table spoon of Sweetener

Blueberries

Instructions

1: Measure out 30-50g of Porridge oats. 30g is only 3pp (pro points) whereas 50g is 5pp. It depends how hungry you are and what your total daily allowance is. Add this to your pan.

2: Measure 200ml of Alpro Almond Milk (1pp) and add to your pan. If you are cooking 30g of porridge I’d recommend reducing the milk down to 150ml. It’s still only 1pp but it’ll make the porridge less sloppy.

Add a spoonful of sweetener if you do want a bit more sweetness.

3: Cook on a high temperature, stirring occasionally. Cook for approximately 5 minutes, or until the porridge swells up slightly.

4: Pour into a bowl and add blueberries. These are free on Weightwatchers so layer them on!

And that is my recipe for Almond Milk Porridge. The entire thing only costs 4 to 6pp on Weight Watchers depending on how much porridge you want.  If you do make it, let me know. Even if you don’t do Weight Watchers this is a really good breakfast that will fill you up for the morning.

Bye for now!
