I have a tiring job that does take a lot out of you. It’s nice to just get home and relax. Here’s my after work routine.
On longer days I usually won’t get home until 9pm so I don’t feel like eating. After spending some time downstairs with my family I’ll head upstairs.
First I will light my Village Candle and my Little Hotties to make my room smell nice and get my bedroom in a nice atmosphere. Whilst these begin to melt I’ll take my contacts out in the bathroom.
For skincare, I’ll first take off my makeup using my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. This does an amazing job at removing even the trace amounts of makeup on the face, leaving my skin nice and clean.
I then use a serum. On a night I use the richer Bare Minerals Active Cell Renewal. This does work better at night and works deep into the skin to repair any damaged cells.
After this I’ll pat small amounts of the Bare Minerals Mineralixir Eye Balm under my eyes and add a small amount to my lips.
I will then use a touch of my Body Shop Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream. This works well as a day and a night cream.
I will then go to bed (after dressing for bed of course) and write in my diary and read a but of my book. I will sometimes have some relaxing music on the ipod at the time, but not always.
After about half an hour I will blow out the candles and go to sleep whilst listening to a hypnosis programme on the Mindifi Apps. Two great ones are the Sleep or the Meditation programmes. Both help me relax a lot.
And that is my night time routine.
