I have heard great things about this foundation over the past few weeks. Too Faced never really included a foundation in their line prior to this. Their main claim to fame was their eye products.
I was interested to try this and thought I’d give it a go. Also, my skin hasn’t reacted badly to any foundations lately, so I think my teenage skin issues have finally sorted themselves out. Finally!
The packaging is gorgeous; a black lid and gold writing on a matte clear container. Basic, but it still stands out against my Nars and Bare Minerals products. You get 30ml of foundation for £29. That isn’t bad considering my Nars foundation cost me £31, and the Bare Minerals foundations average at £26. I bought the shade Ivory, which I think is the lightest shade.
I did apply one and a half pumps to compare it to my Nars Sheer Glow, and knew as soon as it was applied to my face that it was far too much product. It didn’t look awful, but it gave me a fuller coverage than what I am used to. Next time I use it, I’ll only use one pump. That should give me more of a medium coverage.
I love the finish on the skin. Although it was heavy due to my silly over-use of product, it still looked natural and had an airbrushed quality to the skin. It does look dewy, yet not sticky, which I love.
So far, I am impressed with this product, and I will do a proper review and longevity test soon, after trying this out for a few more weeks.
Bye for now!
