I really wanted to do a neutral eye look today as a tutorial. There’s nothing fancy here. This is just for those lazy days where we don’t fancy doing anything fancy with our eye makeup.
I started off by buffing my current favourite foundation into my skin along with a concealer on any blemishes and under eye circles. The Nars Sheer Glow Foundation and Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer compliment each other perfectly for these purposes, giving a flawless finish.
To add a touch of colour (it’s still technically Summer), I used a touch of the Body Shop’s Honey Bronzer Powder on my cheek bones and forehead. I then dusted a small amount of Bare Mineral’s Loose Blush in Kiss on my cheeks. This product goes a long way so beware of over-use.
To set everything in place, I used the Bare Minerals Bareskin Perfecting Veil.
Moving onto eyes, I first applied a thin layer of a Maybelline Creamy Mattes eyeshadow in Creme De Nude over each lid and blended upwards into the crease.
I then took the shade Chinois from the Stila Eyes are the Window: Spirit Palette and patted this over the base shade. Then with a fluffy blending brush, I blended small amounts of the shade, Puppy into the crease, and brought this under the eye along my lash line too.
Using my small finger I took a tiny amount of the shade Kitten and pressed this onto the crease to give a slight wet look.
I filled in m eyebrows with my ever faithful Maybelline Brow Satin, and used the Bare Minerals Lash Domination mascara to add some length to my skimpy lashes.
For the lips, I added some colour by lining the lips with my No7 Precision Liner in Raspberry, and filling them in with the same shade.
I then took a Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in the shade Hot Shot applying over the lip liner.
And that’s everything. Hope you liked this tutorial, and have fun recreating it with your own products at home.
Bye for now!
