Hi guys! I’m off shopping today. I don’t often get into Newcastle, since you need to pay for parking. I tend to travel that extra five-ten minutes and go to the Metro Centre.
This was a treat for me, so I wanted share my makeup, outfit and hair with you.
For makeup I used my usual foundation, concealer and powders. I won’t bore you with that. They’ve been in every tutorial for the past month. For blush, I used Benefit’s Rockateur and swept this along my cheek bones.
For my eyes, I used the L’Oreal Brow Genius kit to draw in my brows and I set them in place with the Maybelline Brow Drama mascara. On the lids I used Maybelline’s Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow in Metallic Pomegranate and blended this into the crease. Over this I used the coppery shade from the Smashbox Cherry Smoke palette, then a slight bit of the terracotta shade in the crease. For mascara I used the Benefit Roller Lash and Clinique Bottom Lash mascaras.
For lipstick I used Maybelline’s Creamy Matte lipstick in the shade Divine Wine. I love this shade. It’s so gorgeous for this time of year!
For my actual outfit, I wore a pair of Next Skinny Jeans and a black shirt top from Dorothy Perkins. The shoes, I bought from Marks and Spencers years ago. They’re really comfy and have a slight heel; perfect for walking miles around a big city!
When I was actually shopping I wore a Henry Holland denim jacket to keep me slightly warmer. I’m a geordie- we don’t really do coats. Unless it’s really, really cold of course!
For my hair, I attempted to do a slight wave design with my hair straighteners. I would straighten one way then turn the hair over to curl the other section. I got the tip from Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup. Think it works slightly better on longer hair.
And that is everything guys. I’m off shopping now!
Bye for now!
