I truly am a lover of pretty makeup items- and I’m truly a makeup snob.
I did a bit of shopping at the House of Fraiser, Kiko and Debenhams this month and purchased a few cheeky things.
Kiko Luscious Cream Lipstick in Plum (512)- I actually came to Newcastle to look in here. The stuff looks awesome but it wasn’t really for me. I did buy this pretty berry lipstick. I love the packaging and it wasn’t badly priced compared to other items on this list.
Nars Audacious Lipstick in Anna- I am really annoyed that there isn’t a Jennifer or Jenny in the Audacious Line. How cool would it be to have a lipstick with your name on it? However my Middle name is Ann so I thought this was close enough. It’s a gorgeous deep neutral shade with just a touch of berry. It’s gorgeous, and I will do a review of it later.
Nars Lipgloss in Baby Doll- The sales assistant was really good at sepparating me from my money. I planned to only buy one item! I came out with two (would have been 3 if the Isolde eyeshadow duo was in stock! This is a really pretty light pink shimmer gloss. I’m surprised at the lack of stickiness; it seems amazing. Again, I’ll review later. But my first impressions are really pleased.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Fiend- I have wanted to try out the Revolution lipsticks for a while, but haven’t found a shade that I really love. I came across Fiend and instantly loved it. It’s slightly lighter than Anna. Gorgeous! I’m going to love wearing these two shades in the Autumn.
Benefit Brow Zing Kit in Light- I got my brows done whilst in Debenhams and asked for this. They use it every time and it always looks amazing. I swallowed my restraint and got the debit card out a final time. I’m looking forward to using this on my brows. It could also double up as eyeshadow crease colours too.
And that’s everything from my trip out to Newcastle. What have you been spending on lately?
