Minimal Makeup Tutorial

Hi guys!

Today I had a play around with my makeup and came up with a bare minimum makeup look (12 products is minimal for me). Today, I thought that I would share it with you.

To start off I used a light layer of Bare Minerals Bare Skin Perfecting Veil to cancel any oil on my skin. I then buffed small amounts of Nars Sheer Glow Foundation all over my face, blending into the neck.

I then used a mix of Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and Rimmel Wake me Up Concealer to hide my dark circles and blemishes. I blended this in with a Real Techniques Makeup Blender.

To set all the liquid products in place I buffed another layer of the Perfecting Veil onto my face. Because the layers have been kept quite light this will still look natural.

To add a touch of definition I used my faithful Body Shop Honey Bronzing Powder on my cheek bones. This looks really natural and almost invisible. For blush I used my MAC Melba blush.

As for the eyes, I used the Benefit Brow Zings palette to add some colour to my brows. I can’t not miss this step now. I love fuller brows.

On my eyelids, I used a touh of Maybelline Creamy Matte eyeshadow in ‘Creme de Nude’ to cancel out any blue lines on my lids. Over this I used the palette The Designer Label from Bare Minerals afterwards, taking the shade ‘Ball Gown’ all over the lid, and a tiny amount of ‘Couture’ in the crease.

As for mascara, since my eyes have been a bit watery lately I used the GOSH Waterproof Amazing Length’n Build Mascara. This doesn’t give great length but it was what I wanted at the time. I don’t want this to budge today!

For lips, I used two products. To line them, I used the Max Factor Colour Elixir Lip Liner in ‘Mauve Moment’ to fill in the entire lip.

Over this I used the Nars Lipgloss in ‘Baby Doll’ to add a gorgeous glossy finish.

And that’s the entire look guys. Hope you like it.

Bye for now!
