Using Bobbi Brown’s ‘Red Carpet’ GRWM

I rant and rave about this lipstick all the time yet I have never used it in a tutorial or GRWM post since my birthday makeup last year. It’s about time that I used in in  post again.

It is my favourite red lipstick and I’m really pleased to use it today.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation: Ivory

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer: Vanilla

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer: Warm Ivory

Bare Minerals Bareskin Perfecting Veil: Tan to Dark

Body Shop Honey Bronzing Powder: Light Matte

L’Oreal Le Blush: Rosewood

Okay, I’m going to go a bit tutorial here. The eyes were quite complex. I first patted a bit of Maybelline Creamy Matte Eyeshadow on the lid in the shade Creme de Rose. I then used the new L’Oreal La Palette Smoky and blended the salmon pink shade over the lid. I then took the purple and brown shade next to it in the crease. I took the black shade along my top lash line, and the purple along my bottom lash line.

I then took Bare Mineral’s Loose Eyeshadow in Celestine over these shades to give it a glossy finish. I finally took the white sparkly shade in my inner corner.

I used a touch of L’Oreal Superliner in Purple to add a dramatic look, and lashings of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara on both the top and bottom lashes.

Finally, I filled my brows in with the Benefit Brow Zings Palette in Light.

And now the final event! I first lined my lips and filled them in with the Bobbi Brown lipstick to get the shape of the lips correct. I then take the lipstick straight from the bullet onto my lips. This is such a beautiful pigmented lipstick, it deserves to be used in it’s full capacity.

Also, this will not budge. It’s a great one for important events where you don’t want to keep reapplying layer after layer of lipstick.

And that’s my Get Ready With Me using my favourite red lipstick. I love the formula of this and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a new matte lipstick.

Bye for now!
