It’s that time of the month again.
I have quite a few beauty favourites this month so I hope you’re ready to look through a lot of photos and have that cuppa ready!
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
As you know, I bought this on a bit of a whim during a slightly impulsive shopping spree to Debenhams. I went in to look at Mascaras, and in true Jennifer fashion, I came out with two completely different items as well as the mascara! And I regret nothing! I love this foundation. It lasts a really long time on the skin (surviving gym sweat) and looks truly flawless. Love it!
September has been the month of lips. It’s also been the month of nudes. I’m not normally a nude lipstick person; I much prefer lip gloss for a neutral lip. However I have rediscovered some old purchases (which are still perfectly fine) and I love them. They’re great for work and on days where I want a more natural makeup look. This colour is really lovely. It still has that pink tone without looking too girly.
MAC Lustre- Syrup
This has been my go-to nude lipstick for September. It’s gorgeous, glossy and long lasting. Love it!
This is such a pretty non-showoffy nail polish. It applied really nicely and dried really quick.
Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Love Hangover
This was my other Debenhams product which I still shake at how much I spent on this. £25 for a blush??? Crazy! However it’s a beautiful colour. I just wish that the packaging was less crap.
This coffee shop has become my hero this month. Most of the food is really good for Weightwatcher goers. The above Toastie was only 6pp. Amazing! It hasn’t overtaken Starbucks as my favourite coffee shop, but it’s not far behind.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Since I couldn’t wait until payday to buy this bad boy it was bound to be in my favourites. This gives amazing length to lashes and makes them look really pretty and fluttery. Love it!
MAC Satin- Captive
Another lipstick? Like I said, September was a lip month. This is a really subtle berry shade that’s ideal for anyone wanting to try out berry shades but are not brave enough for the shocking ‘Dark Night Waterl-Oops!’ colours yet. I love it. It’s a really pretty colour.
Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick- Mulberry
Yes, another berry colour! And another that’s really pretty and long-lasting. I love it!
MAC have been a brand that I have rediscovered lately. I have been loving the eyeshadows, especially the neutral tones. They’re gorgeous, highly pigmented and so long lasting.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Fiend
Quite a new purchase but I love the colour of this. It’s such a gorgeous, glossy, long lasting colour with a really high pigment. Beautiful! This shade is another of the ‘your lips but better’ trend I seem to be loving at the moment.
Body Shop Vitamin E Serum Oil and Intense Moisture Cream
These products saved my skin last month and I still love them now. On good skin days, I am just using the oil. It works well as a moisturiser. I find that the two together can sometimes be a bit too much.
Whatever your feelings on life after death, this show is awesome. It is the only show that I genuinely believe that they find real evidence of ghosts. I recently started getting back into this when I noticed Really plays the episodes every other day. Yey!
Nars Audacious Lipstick in Anna
Benefit Brow Zings kit
This has overtaken the Brow Satin as my everyday brow kit. It’s got everything in here to maintain your brows. I mainly just use the lighter powder, but the wax does come in handy sometimes. A great product.
And that’s everything on my list this month. I hope you enjoyed it; I know it was very lip heavy. Next month, I’m sure there’ll be more eye stuff.
Bye for now!
