Halloween is just around the corner. I will be doing a couple of Halloween Tutorials, and the first is this glammed up vampire look. This is a look that I don’t do very often, so I hope that at least some people like it. I’m not one for super glam makeup, prefering a slightly more natural look.
Anyway, here’s what I came up with!
I kept my face makeup very pale, using my Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, and mattifying it with the Bare Minerals Matte Foundation. On my eyes, I used a light amount of Nars Radiant Creamy concealer along with the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer.
To give myself undead hollowed cheekbones, I used a touch of Bare Minerals Warmth, blending this out a lot. Before blush I used the highlighter, Bare Minerals Instant Radiance on my cheeks and bringing it into a curve up my forehead. In between my contour and highlight, I patted the Body Shop’s Sorbet Blush, Tuscan Grape, but didn’t take it to the apples of my cheeks.
I set everything in place with a touch of Bare Minerals Bareskin Perfecting Veil.
To prime my eyes, I used a touch of Maybelline Creamy Matte Eyeshadow in Creme de Rose. I then used the L’Oreal La Palette Nude to take a shimmery shade all the way up to my brows, and used the darkest shade along my lower lash line.
I filled in my brows using the Benefit Brow Zings Palette, creating a pretty dramatic arch.
I then used the L’Oreal Superliner to create a very dramatic cat-eye flick. This eyeliner is by far the easiest to use to create this.
To finish off the eyes, I used a lot of Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.
I didn’t have a lip product to get the exact dark red that I wanted for this, so I had to mix some.
I first lined my lips using the Max Factor Colour Elixir Lip Liner in Mauve Moment. For the lipstick, I mixed Nars Audacious Lipstick in Rita with Bare Minerals Lead the Way.
I wanted a glossier finish, so I topped the lipsticks with Tanya Burr’s lipgloss in Enchanted Forest. THis is a gorgeous dark plum colour. I love it!
And that is my finished vampiress look. How are you dressing up for Halloween. Let me know!
Bye for now!
