The Blush Addict Tag

image

I was tagged by Kirstin1415 to complete this tag. I’ve done the lip products addict tage, and created the eye products addict tag. I guess this is the next one. Next it’ll probably be the foundation addict tag!

What colour blush suits you most?

image

I suit orange shades the most, although I also love muted pinks and deeper shades. But I get the most compliments when I wear blushes such as Benefit’s Majorette or Soap & Glory Peach Party. It just suits me really well.

Pressed, cream, or loose blush?
image

I love all of these. I loose brushes gorgeous but they can easily go wrong. Creams are lovely but some formulas can rub away your foundation. Pressed are the easiest to control and don’t rub away at your foundation. Pressed it is.

Favourite shimmery blush?
image

Shimmer isn’t really my thing, although I have some with a more silky finish. Is this what this means? In that case my favourite ‘shimmery’ blush would be Bare Minerals Joyous Jennifer. Yes, it has my name on it but it also has a gorgeous silky finish. It’s deeper shades compliment my skin tone really well too. My lid is broken unfortunately so this is a tricky product to control at the moment.

Favourite matte blush?
image

My favourite matte blush is another Bare Minerals product, and will come as no surprise to some of you. It’s the shade Swoon. This has a gorgeous coral finish. It’s such a shame that this was limited edition. I search for dupes of this all the time.

Favourite cream blush?
image

This is another oldie but a goodie. It is of course the Benefit Majorette blush. This blends really well without removing foundation and gives a gorgeous orangey finish.

Favourite drugstore blush?
image

Favourite drugstore blush is the No7 Natural Blush Tint Powder in Coral Flush. This is a really pretty coral blush that costs under £10. It blends really easily and looks super natural on the cheek bones.

Favourite high-end blush?
image

I know this is quite a new purchase but it is the most expensive blush that I own. This would be the Too Faced Love Flush in Love Hangover. It’s a beautfil deep pink shade. I love it.

Favourite bright blush?
image

With no doubt this would be Smashbox’s Blush Rush in Radiance. It’s a very bright pink shade that can be worn pretty sheer. I love it even though I was initially terrified of it in the store.

Biggest blush disappointment?
image

This is not a bad product, but I was expecting it to be better, and that is the Lancome Blush Subtil Palette in Rose Flush. It’s really shimmery, and the palettes are quite tiny, it’s hard to pick up the product on the brush without mixing them. With one of the sections being a bronzer, it wouldn’t be great to mix this matte shade with a very shimmery blush.

Best blush packaging?
image

This award goes to Benefit without a doubt. The packaging of these blushers are gorgeous and so creative to match the type of blush inside.

What’s on your blush wish list?

Probably the other Too Faced Love Flush blush collection or even Nars Orgasm blush.

Number one holy grail blush?
image

My number one holy grail blush is Benefit’s Majorette. I can just work with this colour all year round, and it can act as a base for my other blush powders. I love this product so much!

I tag everyone who reads this to complete their own answers to these questions!

Bye for now!
