Shopping Haul

Hi guys,
Two of my staple products ran out today so this was meant to be a two purchase only haul. However, Superdrug has new stalls and this happened! Oopsie!

So let’s start with the things that I actually went into Sunderland to buy. I wanted a replacement for my Nars Radiant Creamy concealer, so I thought that I would try the much raved about Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. It felt nice when the lovely assistant tried it on me, and we’ll see how I get on.

I also repurchased my Bare Minerals Bareskin Perfecting Veil. I got a funny look when I asked for the ‘tan to dark’ shade, but I like the extra warmth it adds if used lightly and I’ll need this on holiday when I get a bit of a tan.

Okay, next was when the damage came in. I headed home and popped into my local Superdrug (which never gets new stuff). It now has Makeup Revolution and a new brand I’d only heard of last week called Freedom Makeup London. Apparently they’re a sister company to Makeup Revolution, but I got the impression that Freedom puts a bit more thought into packaging and has a more professional look.  I did bye a fair amount in Superdrug; partly because of their 3 for 2 offer and I had £7 of points on my Loyalty card. It came in handy today!

As for Freedom Makeup London, I picked up a fair few items. The first thing to catch my eye was a pack of five full sized lipsticks for £5. These are all shades that I would use and they seem to have a semi-matte finish. I also picked up a Pro Melts Lipgloss in a gorgeous pink shade. They didn’t have any testers out so I’m hoping that this suits me.

Next up in my hunt for a decent concealer for blemishes, I picked up two Pro Concealer Palettes, one in the Correct shades, which has a lot of purple and greens and yellows, and the other is the Light Conceal and Correct Palette.

The final item that I bought was a Pro Eyelid Primer. You all know how much I struggle with eyelid primers. This one was pretty cheap so I hope that I get on with it. If not, it’s not a huge loss.

I will do a review on Freedom Makeup London next month once I’ve had a good play with all the things!

And that is my complete haul. What have you treat yourself to recently?

Bye for now!
