Wearable Witch Makeup Tutorial

Hi guys!

One of the more popular costumes for Halloween is a Witch. Both me and my best friend dressed up as them last year. Here’s a photo of us…

So last year, I used a lot of green makeup. This year, I want my witch to be all about the purples. Here’s how I got a pretty wearable Witch Makeup.

To start, I primed my face using the Benefit Porefessional before using my favourite foundation which is the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation. I then used the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer to cover any stubborn red areas. Under my eyes, I used the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, blending this in with a blending sponge. To set it all in place I used the Bare Minerals Bareskin Perfecting Veil.

For contouring, I used an old favourite in the Bare Minerals California Bronze kit, using the shade ‘The Ocean View’. I used the highlight, ‘The Shining Moment’, to add some shimmer to the cheek bones. For blush, I used Bare Mineral’s Ready Blush, ‘The One’.

As I said earlier, I want my eyeshadow to have a big purple emphasis this year. To start with, I primed my eyelids with Maybelline Colour Tattoo in ‘Metallic Pomegranate’. I blended this into the lid, partially over the crease. This part doesn’t have to be too neat. It’s only the base.

Over this I used MAC’s Cranberry, patting this lightly over the lid. I then took a touch of Star Violet in the outer corner, blending into the crease this into the crease. I then took Beauty Marked and patted this over the entire eyelid up to the crease, blending outwards. I used L’ancome Ombre Hypnose eyeshadow in ‘Violet Divin’ to line both lash lines. Finally, I used the Clinique Wearable Nudes palette, taking the whitest shade and putting a tiny amount in the inner corner.

To tightline my eyes, I used MAC’s Kohl Power Eyeliner in ‘Feline’.

To finish the eyes I used a lot of Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara for bottom lashes), topping with a touch of teal with the Clinique Chubby Lash in ‘Two Ton Teal’. I gave myself stronger brows than normal with the Benefit Brow Zings.

I first lined my lips with a No7 Precision Lips Pencil in ‘Pink’ and topped this with Nars Audacious Lipstick in ‘Rita’.

And that is the finished makeup, just insert a pointy hat to finish the look.

Bye for now!
