Today I’m reviewing lipsticks. Yes, more lipsticks.
I thought that I would try some of the gorgeous Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks on my holiday. I’ve had the shade ‘Fiend’ for a few weeks and wanted to try some of the brighter ones.
I got advise from the sales assistant and we ended up choosing two. Oops! Sorry Debit card!
I now have one Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade ‘Tilt,’ and a new original Revolution Lipstick in the shade ‘Bang!’ I love the unusual names and somehow they do match the shades of the lipsticks in a weird way. ‘Bang’ is a very bright colour that I would associate with an explosion. Very strange.
These lipsticks retail at £15.50 and can be found in a lot of higher end makeup stores. Locally, mine are House of Fraser and Debenhams. The packaging is very sleek and cool; a tube with some sort of jagged pattern on it. The matte ones are black, whereas the originals are a chrome silver.
The pigment quality in these lipsticks is like nothing else! With one swipe you get a very intense colour, which can be built up if you so require, but in my opinion, one swipe it enough. Even the matte is creamy enough to apply this way and not drag. They are amazing!
Left to Right: Bang!, Fiend, Tilt
My favourite has got to be Fiend, but I will be wearing a lot of the other two on holiday so my opinions may change. Overall these a gorgeous, rich formula of lipstick, and no doubt I will buy more in the future.
Have you tried these out? Which are your favourite shades?
Bye for now!
