First Impressions of Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipsticks

One comment

I have quite a few lipsticks. Seriously, I do. I’m clearly an addict!
However when I last bought a few Urban Decay products I was given some pods of lipstick to try. They were from the Sheer Revolution range. As you know I only have the mattes and the originals at the moment.

So I tried the pods for a week and fell in love with one shade; ‘Ladyflower.’ Yet another awesomely raunchy name!  I wanted this lipstick.

Of course me being me, I came out of debenhams with 4 new lipsticks. I blame the 10% off offer they had going.

So I came away with three sheer lipsticks and another matte (Bad Blood). However this review is about the sheer lipsticks, not the mattes.

The packaging is beautiful. It is a slightly paler shade of Urban Decay’s signature dark purple. Gorgeous!

I swatched all three on my hand. The initial layer, as you would expect is very sheer and only gives a hint of colour. If your build this up two or three times you get a gorgeous glossy colour that feels non – sticky to the touch. Always a bonus at this time of year!

I have a feeling that these will be surprisingly long lasting too. When I tried to wipe away with a tissue I had a stain on my hand which put up a fight against my Micellar cleaning water too! Not too bad for a glossy lipstick!

So what are your thoughts on this collection? I adore them. They seem ideal for everyday wear.

Bye for now!
