Most Underrated Beauty Items

Hi guys!

I was watching Youtube the other day and came across Amelia and Lily’s collaboration. They discussed some of their favourite beauty items that they felt are not hyped up enough. It sounded like a good idea, so I wanted to share mine with you all.

This does range from skincare to general makeup so there is a bit of a mix.

Body Shop Hemp Face Protector

I know that I have spoken about this cream a lot over my two years of blogging, however it’s not a product that you hear a lot of on Youtube or other blogs. This is a very hydrating, magic product. It’s great for clearing dry patches on the skin and can help relieve skin conditions such as eczema in children. I recommended this two a friend with a toddler and this cream did clear up his skin. It is an amazing product that deserves more hype.

Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow Quads/ Duos

I have so many of these eyeshadows. it’s hard to keep count! These are some of the most pigmented, creamy eyeshadows that I have worked with. I find that there’s so much hype over Bare Minerals’ skincare and foundations, but not a lot is said about their eyeshadows. I love these. There are so many choices that there will be one perfect palette for you.

Clinique Wear Everywhere Eyeshadow Palettes

I’ll get the two eyeshadow palette collections out of the way. These are a collection of palettes with eight complimenting eyeshadows in each. These are very buttery in texture and blend beautifully on the eyelids. They are very slimline so are perfect for travelling. I took the Nudes and Greens palettes to Cyprus with me (My mam borrowed the Greys). These do certainly deserve more hype.

No7 Moisture Drench Lipsticks

No7 hypes these up a lot as part of their advertisement for the Match-Made Service; which is brilliant when it comes to their foundations and lipsticks. However, you don’t see these get mentioned as much as some other lipsticks, which is a shame. These are so beautiful and feel so creamy on the lips without smudging everywhere. These do deserve a bit more attention.

Bare Minerals Active Cell Renewal Night Serum

Poor Active Cell kinda got forgotten about during the hype of the Biolucent launch and some of the new makeup releases. This is a brilliant serum for repairing damaged cells; so dryness and in my case sun burn. I used this for the first time after my trip to Sorrento. I had very badly burned arms. I was advised to massage some of this into the burn. It did take a few days but it really helped the skin repair itself. Nowadays I use it during the night to repair my skin at its driest times. It really does help. It’s a truly amazing product.

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Lip Lacquer

Liquid lipsticks are having a moment lately. There’s the hype over Kat Von D’s Liquid Lipstick, and the Bourjois Rouge Velvets. You don’t see a lot of mention of Estee Lauder’s version. These have been out a while, and they are lovely, glossy liquid lipsticks. I would recommend these if you do enoy a more glossier liquid lipstick.

And those are all the products that I believe deserve more hype than they actually got. Hope you enjoyed this type of post, and I’d love to see what products you feel deserve more hype.

Bye for now!
