Another month has gone, and I am a year older. Two more years until I’m 30. Why???
Anway, I wanted share my monthly favourites today. There are quite a few since I have tried out a lot of new things this month. So here are all of my favourites from November.
Urban Decay Naked 3
This eyeshadow palette is stunning! I have been loving rosy gold eyeshadow looks on my natural makeup days, and this palette has everything that you need to do this. I absolutely have fallen back in love with it. The eyeshadows are super pigmented and blend really easily onto the lids without a lot of fallout.
Bare Minerals California Bronze
In the quest to use up some of my older makeup items, I have been using this a lot this month, and actually hit pan on the lightest bronzing shade (hurray!). This palette is pretty much all you need for a warmer contour. The highlighting shade gives a very subtle yet beautiful glow from within. I love it. It’s a shame that it was limited edition really.
Barry M Show Girl Extra Lengthening Mascara
When I first got this I actually hated it. It came free if you spent £10 on nail polish. It didn’t give me extra length. It was a bit meh! However, on my quest to use up products, I thought I would try it again. It does give some length, but not loads, but the reason that it’s in my favourites is that it is the perfect mascara for days where you don’t want a lot of eye makeup on. For me, this has been on a lot of my night shifts.
Urban Decay Vice 4
Oh my god, I am obsessed with this palette! It is a thing of beauty. The colours are all wearable and blend really well with each other. I have loved experimenting with these colours this month. I’d definitely recommend this, and I’m thinking this could make a great present for some of my friends. Hmmm.
Freedom Eyebrow Promade
I know I’ve been calling this the Pro Brow Gel, but that’s only because the rest of the products all seem to have ‘Pro’ in front of their names. This is the only product that I have tried from the line that I can genuinely say that I like. If you just stroke the brush in the product, you have enough for your whole eyebrow. It looks really natural, and is easy to blend out around your brows.
Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Video
This blush is beautiful. It looks so natural and very pretty on days where I have worn a lot more colour on my eyes.
Nars The Multiples in Copacabana
For being a truly impulsive buy that I did semi-regret, I have gotten a lot of use out of it. This is a very pretty highlighting product that looks gorgeous on top of matte blush. I found it better to apply with fingers rather than draw it straight onto the face from the stick. It looks much more natural.
Urban Decay Matte Revolution in Bad Blood
This is such a gorgeous dark red lipstick! I wore this at the metro centre and it stayed put through a cup of Hot Chocolate and a Muffin. It’s an amazing product that could rival the Bobbi Brown Creamy mattes in their durability. Love it!
Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation and Concealer
I’m keeping these two together because they work great as a team to give me very fresh looking, smoother skin. The makeup artist who sold the foundation to me said that it would improve my skin the more that I wore it. I didn’t believe him, but he was right. After wearing this about three times I noticed that the dry patches around my chin area were disappearing. I honestly couldn’t believe it! The concealer blends really well around the eye area, and I have found that it’s easier to blend with fingers rather than a brush.
Meghan Trainor’s Better When I’m Dancing
This is such a feel good song. I’ve lsitened to it in my car, in the house and on the beach. It’s such a lovely song which does make you want to get up and dance.
Sophie Kinsella’s The Wedding Girl
I won’t go on too much about this book since I reviewed it in my books post a few days ago. But this is a really good easy holiday read if you are looking for something that will have you hooked for a few hours.
And those are all of my monthly favourites. What have you been loving this month?
Bye for now!
