Christmas Party Look 1: Neutral Golden Eyes

Hi guys!
It’s the Christmas season and hopefully you’ve all got loads of parties to attend. So far I’ve only got one.
However this week I’ve got seven different night out looks for you. Yes seven! I couldn’t resist playing with all of my glittery makeup to come up with these looks. There will be one for everyone so keep your eye out for them all.

This first one uses more neutral tones for those who don’t like using much colour in their routine.

I first used Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Concealer on any blemishes before buffing my Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation into my skin. Since my nose does have a bit of redness, I used Benefit’s Boing Concealer on a fluffy eyeshadow brush. Under my eyes, I used Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Concealer, patting it into the skin with my ring finger. I set everything in place with Bare Mineral’s Bareskin Perfecting Veil.

To add some definition, I buffed a light amount of Bare Minerals Ready Bronzer in ‘The Beach is Waiting’ under my cheek bones. Then to add a pop of colour, I blended a touch of Revlon’s Creamy Blush in ‘Enchanted’ to my cheek bones and apples of my cheeks. For Highlight, I used ‘The Shining Moment’ from Bare Minerals California Bronze Palette.

I kept the eyes very simple with a hint of glitter and colour. I filled in my brows with my usual products; Benefit Brow Zings and Gimme Brow.

Then, taking the Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette, I mixed the shades ‘Framed’ and ‘Bone’, buffing these all over the lid to create a matte base. In the crease, I then took the shade ‘Bitter’ and built this up slowly in the crease.

On the lid, I first used the Nars Dual Intensity Eyeshadow in ‘Himalia’ patting this onto the lid. This is such a pretty cool gold colour. Over this, I patted light amounts of Chanel’s Illusion D’Ombre Eyeshadow in ‘Mirage’ onto the lid with my ring finger. Being a sheer gold, this enhanced the colour from the Nars shadow.

For a pop of colour I used the green Benefit They’re Real Push Up Liner, drawing a thin line along my lash line. I must say, that this formula is a lot easier to use than the original black one. It’s much more fluid and creamy.

Finally, for mascara I used Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara  in black.

To finish the lips, I used one product. I wanted to keep this look quite neutral so I used the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in ‘Dolce Vita.’ I got this as a free sample when I bought some lipsticks the other week. I love the colour, and may need to buy a full size once this runs out.

And that is my finished Christmas Party Look. Tomorrow will have more of a taupe smoky eye and a bold lip. I hope you enjoyed this look and I’ll see you tomorrow.

Bye for now!
