Christmas Party Look 4: Dramatic Green Eyes

Hi guys!

Here’s my fourth makeup look. This one uses a lot of emerald green eyeshadows and sports a dark mauve lip. Hope you like it!

For the face, I changed it up a bit and used an old favourite; Nars Sheer Glow. My tan is beginning to fade slightly so this foundation shade (Deauville) is matching me again. To cover any blemishes I used Benefit’s Boing Concealer, and under my eyes I used Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Concealer.

To contour, I used what little is left in the Bare Minerals California Bronze palette. I have been loving this bronzer shade so much lately!

For blush, I used Urban Decay’s Afterglow Blush in ‘Rapture.’ This is a gorgeous semi-glittery mauve blush. It looks darker in the pan than it does on the face. I love it. I applied this with a fan brush on my cheek bones and apples of my cheeks. Since this does have a slight shimmer, I didn’t apply highlighter this time.

To set everything in place, I used Bare Minerals Bareskin Perfecting Veil.

The eyes were the main focus of this look, and I used one eyeshadow palette; Urban Decay’s Vice 4. This has some gorgeous emerald greens, which are perfect for a christmas themed eye look.

To prime my lids I mixed ‘Bone’ and ‘Framed,’ which has become my everyday routine when it comes to eyeshadow application. In the crease, I then applied a generous amount of ‘Delete’ blending it relatively far past the crease.

On the lid, I applied ‘Robbery’ on a damp eyeshadow brush, blending out the edges with a fluffy brush. Then, over this i applied ‘C-Note’ on a dry brush. In the outer corner I applied a tiny amount of ‘Grasshopper.’ Using a fluffy blending brush, I blended all these colours out to create a very dramatic green smoky eye.

On the lower lash line, I applied a generous amount on ‘C-Note’ and ‘Robbery’ again.

As for eyeliner, I stuck with greens. In the waterline, I used Bare Minerals Lasting Liner in ‘Immortal Emerald.’ And along the top lash line I used Benefit’s Push Up Gel Liner in ‘Green.’ I did want to flick this out, but decided not to in the end.

For mascara, I used Urban Decay’s Perversion Mascara, and in my brows I used Benefit’s Brow Zings.

For my lips, I lined them using Max Factor’s Color Elixir Lip Liner in ‘Mauve Moment.’ Over this, I used the lipstick that matches my blush shade. I used Urban Decay’s Revolution Lipstick in ‘Rapture.’ I love this colour!

And that is look 4. Which has been your favourite so far?

Bye for now!
