Here’s look number 6. This one uses a lot of silver for a frosty eyeshadow look. Hope you like it.
I did go slightly more full coverage with this one than intended, but it still looks okay. I buffed a lot of Nars Sheer Glow into my face and used a touch of Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer on the blemishes on my forehead, which are thankfully going away. Under my eyes I used the much needed Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer.
To add some life to my face, I buffed in the lighter bronzer shade from my Bare Minerals California Bronze Palette and Urban Decay’s Afterglow Blush in ‘Rapture.’
Then to set everything in place, I used Bare Minerals Bareskin Perfecting Veil.
For the eyes, I used a new palette. I didn’t need to buy this one though; it’s the free gift for spending £10 or more on GOSH Copenhagen products. I will do a full review of this eventually. This is the Smokey Nudes Palette.
Since it has no matte crease shades, I first used ‘Delete’ from Urban Decay’s Vice 4 to define my lid. On my actual lid, I took the lightest silver all over the lid, stopping at my crease. On the outer lid, I patted the darker silver. I blended these shades into the brown colour to soften the edge. I also used these two shades on my lower lash line. On a tiny shadow brush, I added a touch of the white sparkly shade into my inner corner to highlight.
For brows, I kept things quite natural and swept my Benefit Gimme Brow through them. As for liner, I took the black colour from the GOSH Copenhagen Smokey Nudes Palette and concentrated this on the outer lash line to smoke it out slightly.
For mascara, I primed my lashes using Benefit’s They’re Real Tinted Lash Primer, and went over this with Urban Decay’s Perversion Mascara.
On the lips, I used Barry M’s Satin Super Slick Lip Paint in the shade 171. This is a sort of browny-pink shade. I love the colour but it isn’t very long-lasting. This would need to be one that you kept in your handbag for constant re-applications. I only applied this an hour ago and it’s already faded away to lipstick heaven.
So that is look number 6. Tomorrow will be slightly different and involve a bit of a GRWM. This will be the look that I actually wore on Saturday to my work Christmas Party.
I really hope you have liked this week of tutorials. If you would like to see more, let me know.
Bye for now!
