Christmas Party Look 7: My Work Christmas Party

Hi guys!

Today’s look is the actual one that I wore for my work Christmas party.

My dress is from Wallis, although a fair few years old, and my shoes were bought recently from Dorothy Perkins. And my handbag is from Radley. My necklace and earrings were bought from Outfit. I believe the necklace is from Miss Selfridges and the earrings are from Dorothy Perkins.

Face

I first buffed Urban Decay’s Naked Skin foundation into my face, and added a touch my coverage with Bare Minerals Original Foundation. To rid my under-eye area of any circles I patted a touch of Benefit’s Boing concealer.

For contouring I used my usual Bare Minerals California Bronze palette, and I added some colour with Urban Decay’s Afterglow blush in ‘Rapture.’

Eyes

I know the lighting isn’t great here, but I went for a very dramatic gold eyeshadow.

I used all of the large Naked Palettes and the Vice 4 palette. I first blended ‘Bone’ and ‘Framed’ (Vice) all over my lid. I had already filled in my brows with Benefit’s Brow Zings. Next, I blended ‘Delete’ (Vice) into the crease, and darkened the outer corner with ‘Blackout’ (2). I then used ‘Half Baked’ (1 or 2), blending out into the crease. In the centre of the eye I patted a touch of ‘Dirtysweet’ (Smoky) and darkened the outer corner further with ‘Darkside’ (3).

On the lower lashline I blended out ‘Delete’ and ‘Halfbaked.’

I tight-lined my waterline using Urban Decay’s Glide on Eyeliner in ‘Demolition,’ and used a black L’Oreal Superliner to add a medium thickness line to my upper lash line.

For lashes I used a lot of Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.

Lips

For lipstick, I used Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipstick in ‘Love Liberty.’ Over this, I added a touch ofΒ Nars LipglossΒ in ‘Babydoll to the centre of my lip.

We had our party at the George Washington Hotel, which had a Narnia theme going. It was all really pretty and I had a good time, even though I had to leave early because the weather was turning bad.

I hope you have enjoyed Party Look week. I will do the Cranberry inspired look nearer Christmas if you would still like to see that one.

What have you all worn for your Christmas parties?

Bye for now!
