Some Festive Palettes

Christmas is a lovely time for playing with makeup. It tends to be the time where things get a bit more glittery in my makeup routine. Especially when it comes to my eyeshadow.

For today’s post, I have picked six eyeshadow palettes that give a very festive vibe with their colours of finishes.

Smashbox Cherry Smoke Palette

This one was limited edition, although I think you can still get it. This palette has a beautiful selection of rich warm browns and some cooler ones that make beautiful everyday eyeshadow looks. The formula of the shadows are very creamy and blend beautifully on the lids. It’s truly beautiful. If you can get ahold of it, it’s worth every penny!

Urban Decay Smoky Palette

This is a lovely palette for creating numerous looks appropriate for daytime and the evening. Like all the Naked palettes, these blend easily and would be appropriate for after Christmas too.

Maybelline Silk Glam in Blue Drama

For the glitter lovers out there, this one is for you. Even though this has a lot of blue it applies very sheer and is a gorgeous one for a night out. It’s too glittery for a daytime look.

Smashbox Double Exposure Palette

This one is a very beautiful palette for a pretty satin finish to the lids. Since it can be worn wet or dry, you can be quite creative with the looks that you choose. This can be tricky to blend at times, but I love the colours for a festive look.

Chanel Le 4 Ombres in Trissi Rivoli

This is a beautiful semi glittery satin finish taupe quad. It is gorgeous and blendable on the lids. I’m thinking about wearing this for my work Christmas party this year.

Dior 3 Couleurs Glow in Rosewood

I think that you can still get this. It’s a lovely trio of glittery taupe shades for a wash of colour on the lids. I love this palette for it’s creative packaging as well as the gorgeous colours inside it.

And those are my six favourite festive eyeshadow palettes. What are your favourite eyeshadow palettes for the festive month?

Bye for now!
