Yesterday, I posted my favourite eyeshadow palettes for the festive month. Today, I wanted to share my favourite singular eyeshadows. All of these are beautiful intensely pigmented and glittery.
If you like more of a golden neutral eye, something like Chanel’s Illusion D’Ombre in ‘Mirage’ would be beautiful. This gives a subtle, sheer hint of colour. However, if you want more of an intense golden eye, L’Oreal’s Color Riche Mono Eyeshadow in ‘Golden Nude’ would look amazing. For a darker wash of bronze, I always recommend Bare Minerals Loose Eyeshadow in ‘Pussycat.’ It is gorgeous as a wash of colour, or used in the crease. I love it!
For a cooler taupe colour, I love L’Ancome’s Hypnose Star Eyes in ‘Quartz Taupe.’ This is beautiful underneath eyeshadows or on it’s own.
I always think purple looks beautiful on the eyes at Christmas. I have picked three. The first one is a L’Ancome Ombre Hypnose eyeshadow in ‘Violet Divin.’ I use this in the crease or as an eyeliner. The other is a gorgeous pigment for the lid. This is the Bare Minerals High Shine Eyecolour in ‘Moonshine.’ This has now been discontinued, but some stores do still have them. A cream eyeshadow that looks amazing under this is Maybelline’s Colour Tattoo Eyeshadow in ‘Metallic Pomegranate.’
So those are my favourite Christmassy eyeshadows. What are yours?
Bye for now!
