Body Shop Lip Care

In the Winter, I get extremely dry lips. Without a really good lip balm, no lip products tend to look good on them. And even with lip balms, my lips will still peel and look dry after a few hours. #dryskinproblems and all that jazz!

I recently discovered these two old products in a Body Shop store close to me. They’ve been out a while but I didn’t think much of them. However, I thought that a lip scrub in bullet form might me a lot easier to use than dipping a cottom bud in a pot to scrub my lips with.

The lip scrub is called the Lipscuff and costs £8. Not too bad. The other product, which looks like a sheer lipstick is the Lip Care Translucent, which costs £8.50. This is a lip conditioner, which is probably what I need in the colder months.

The Lipscuff is amazing. I love minty scents, and I find that products with mint in them really hydrate my lips. I couldn’t find a lot out about this in the store so it was a purchase on a whim moment. The bullet makes it great for targeting the necessary areas of the lips and feels a lot more hygeinic than the regular pot scrubs.

The Lip Care is also a really good product, although it really is just a lip balm. It does hydrate my lips really well, and I can’t fault it at that. The only thing is that I can think of plenty of other lip balms that do the same thing. For the price I was expecting a miracle product.

Overall I do like these products, and if you are wanting some new lip care products, do give them a try; especially the lipscuff.

Bye for now!
