I posted this look on Instagram a few weeks ago and a lot of people seemed to like it, so I thought that I would post it here as a tutorial.
I have been having a bit of an issue with my skin today, so I needed a heavy duty foundation to cover all the redness going on. I used Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation applying slowly in thin layers, building to a fuller coverage.
Under my eyes, I used Bare Minerals’ Stroke of Light, blending this into the under eye area with a beauty sponge. This immediately made me look more awake and healthy. To set everything in place, I applied Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish.
To add some colour and life back into my face, I applied some of Bare Minerals’ Warmth to my cheek bones, and used Bare Minerals’ Joyous Jennifer blush to the apples of my cheeks. This has a soft shimmer in it so there was no need to highlight.
I wanted to keep the eyeshadow quite simple today, since the feline flick is so dramatic.
I first filled in my brows with Benefit’s Brow Zings and Gimme Brow, keeping things still natural, yet groomed (yes they do need waxing soon).
On the lid, I applied Urban Decay’s ‘Delete’ (from the Vice 4 Palette) to the crease. Then, taking the Bare Minerals Ready Quad in ‘The Soundtrack,’ I used the shade louder on the outer corner and lower lash line.
On the inner lid I blended Chanel’s Illusion D’Ombre in ‘Mirage’ over the other shades.
To tight line my waterline, I used my very well used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Liner in ‘Demolition.’
As for the eyeliner itself, I used a Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner, taking the line along my lash line, and keeping my eyes closed drew a line up towards the edge of my brows. I then joined the two lines together, thickening along the lash line.
I finished off the eyes by using Charlotte Tilbury’s Full Fat Lashes mascara.
As for the lips, I applied Clinique’s Colour Pop Lipstick in ‘Cherry Pop.’ This shade looked gorgeous with the golden tones.
And that is the finished look. What do you think?
Bye for now!
