We’re now into February and I posted this look onto instagram last month. It got some great feedback so I thought that I would post this as one of the many Valentines Day appropriate makeup looks this month. This one is a very natural yet still gorgeous and glowing, and it uses all Bare Minerals products (apart from the lips which are MAC).
So here we go!
For the foundation I used one of my favourite foundations, which is the Bare Minerals Ready Foundation. I took this all over the face but left the eye area. On the eyes I applied the Bare Minerals Stroke of Light Concealer, patting this in with my fingers.
To add some colour I applied Bare Mineral’s Original Warmth to my face in a figure of three motion, concentrating on my cheek bones and jawline. For blush I used the Bare Minerals Original Blush in ‘Golden Gate.’ This is such a pretty peach shade with just a hint of shimmer.
To set everything in place I used Bare Mineral’s Mineral Veil.
Since I have had my brows recently tinted, I didn’t apply anything to them.
For eyeshadow, I used the Bare Minerals Ready Quad in ‘The Good Life.’ Firstly, I took the shade North all over the lid. In the crease I buffed the shade Priceless, which is a warm grey shade. In the outer corner I applied a small amount of Blackout and buffed this into the rest of the shadows. I finally blended everything together using the pearlescent shade Opulence of a fluffy shader brush.
I then used my liquid liner trick and dampened Blackout to create a subtle feline flick.
After curling my lashes, I applied a few layers of Bare Mineral’s Lash Domination.
For the lips I came up with two options. For a more neutral look, I used MAC’s Viva Glam V Lipstick. It’s a beautiful lip colour that lasts ages on the lips.
For a more daring, vampy lip I used one of MAC’s new Matte Retro Liquid Lipsticks in the shade ‘Dance with Me.’ These seriously do not budge once applied and are not drying on the lips either.
So here are two soft romantic eyeshadow looks. Which was your favourite lip combo?
Bye for now!
