I have used this product for a really long time, and as it approaches the final drops in it’s glass bottle, I thought that it was time to review it.
This is the Body Shop’s Drops of Youth Concentrate. It comes in two sizes; a 30ml and a 50ml (retailing at £25 and £32 respectively).
The point of this product is to combat the first signs of aging, so it is recommended to start using this in your late twenties when aging begins to show on the face. It also helps smooth and moisturise the skin, improving the skin’s condition as it works into it. Pretty impressive really.
But does it work?
The first time that I used this my face felt really tight. It works immediately. I do find the tightness a little uncomfortable, so I apply a touch of moisturiser afterwards. I have noticed some of my finer lines around my mouth reducing the longer I use this. I don’t find it very moisturising, it feels quite drying on me, which is why I go in with extra products after this.
Packaging wise, I love the green bottle. Being glass, it isn’t great for travelling, but it’s nice to keep on your cosmetics table if you have one. It looks pretty.
To apply, it has a pipet on the top that you press down and release slowly to suck up the product. This distributes the perfect amount for the face, and a little does go a long way. I massage this into my skin as the first step to my morning skincare routine.
Overall, I like this product. It does what it says on the tin. What are your thoughts on this product if you have used it?
Bye for now!
