Goddess Clay Skin Mask Review

One comment

Hi guys!

I wanted to review a face mask today.

I have been trying out a few new skin care items in the hope of sorting out my skin once and for all.

I was at the Charlotte Tilbury Counter in Newcastle the other day and came across this quite luxurious clay mask. I am normally a Β£1.99 peel-off mask kind of girl but this gets such good reviews I wanted to try it. I have had a bit more cash lately since I don’t spend as much on makeup these days.

This is the Goddess Clay Skin Mask. It retails at Β£45. Quite a splurge, but it has very luxurious ingredients that help combat dryness, aging and gets rid of impurities in the skin. So it has something for everyone in this tub. But is it worth the high price tag?

This is meant to stay on the skin for ten minutes. You can leave it on longer, but I don’t really see the point if you can see the results after just ten minutes. How I apply this is to squeeze a small amount into my hand and apply all over my face, staying clear of my eyes. This doesn’t dry so I would recommend tying your hair back with this. Once ten minutes has passed I go in the shower to wipe the mask off my face (with warm water; not fully boiling); I will also wash my hair here if any mask has made it into my fringe.

The results are amazing. My skin feels a lot more hydrated and less tight however my pores have reduced in size. My skin also feels very smooth. My favourite result however is how brilliantly makeup applies after this. I have applied a few different foundations onto my skin for a few weeks and all look beautifully airbrushed on the skin.

I am really impressed!

So is this clay mask worth the splurge? Hell yes!

It has made me want to try other skincare items in the range, but I will wait for a while before purchasing. I still have enough to keep me going.

So what are your thoughts on the Goddess Clay Mask? Or have you got any ideas for future posts? Please let me know.

Bye for now!
