Tip of the Week: The Foundation Sandwich

20160113_141810.jpg

Hi guys.

I mention this thing a few times and usually get asked what the hell I’m on about.

The foundation sandwich is a technique that I use to help my foundation last longer throughout the day. It doesn’t invlove loads of fancy high end products either. All you need is your powder and foundation brush, as well as a setting powder and foundation.

First, buff your setting powder into your face. If you have oily skin this can absorb any extra oil on the face, giving a nice even drier surface for your foundation to cling to.

Next, apply your foundation how you normally would. I use brushes, but you could use your fingers or sponges if that is your preferred method.

The final step is to go over your foundation once again with your setting powder.

And that is the foundation sandwich. Hope this works for you guys.

What tips and tricks would you like me to look into next week?

Bye for now!
