A few days ago I shared my favourite higher end red lipsticks. Today I wanted to share my favourite drugstore reds. These are all under £10, so they’re the more more affordable option.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick- Rouge Jet Set: This is one of the longest lasting, creamy red lipsticks that I own. I love the colour; it’s a very vibrant cherry red. This is a gorgeous colour for adding that pop of colour to any makeup look.
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick- 107: This is a cult favourite thanks to a certain Youtuber. However it is a beautiful matte lipstick that gets a fair amount of use during the Winter Months, or if I fancy a bold lip at any other time of year. Unlike a lot of drugstore matte formulas, this doesn’t dry my lips out either.
Revlon Colorburst Lip Crayon- Enticing: I love the formula of this lipstick! The crayons are so easy to apply and feel very hydrating on the lips. They do tingle a bit but I quite like that feeling when my lips are very dry and need some TLC. This just adds a subtle hint of red if you want a more neutral makeup day, but still love red lipstick.
Rimmel Moisture Drench- Diva Red: I love the cherry red shade of this lippie! It is so beautiful. Again, this is very hydrating, and for a creamy texture lipstick this is surprisingly long lasting.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet- Hot Pepper: Two other Youtubers hooked me onto this colour. It is so beautiful and extremely long lasting. This is very hydrating for a matte textured liquid lipstick and doesn’t make your lips look wrinkly. This one is a pretty bright red; love the colour!
So those are my top five drugstore reds. What would make your list?
Bye for now!
