Since beginning March of the Lipsticks, a lot of lipsticks have somehow migrated into my makeup bag. I did have a sort of recently, and this is what survived the purge.
Since my review of the L’Oreal Infallible Matte Pens I have added a couple more into my collection. I blame Boots and Superdrug both having 3 for 2 offers on this month. I do have all six shades that I own in my makeup bag at the moment. I’m really experimenting with ombre lip patterns with these, and I use them as a stain under lip gloss. I just think they’re really pretty colours on the lips.
I also have three Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks in the bag. Even though it is nearing Spring, I can’t let go of my vampy Winter side yet. Therefore Night Crimson remains in here. I also have Burkin Brown and Stoned Rose for more neutral days.
Speaking of more neutral days, I have two lipsticks in here from Tom Ford and Dior. Both of these are very long-lasting, creamy formulas that look really pretty on the lips. I wore Tom Ford’s Casablanca for an interview. It’s one of those colours that gives you a boost of confidence and remains classy. Dior’s Swan is just such a pretty pale nude. It’s simply stunning.
One of my favourite lipstick formulas comes from Smashbox, and I can’t wait until there new shades come to the UK. However, not all of them could fit in this makeup bag at once. I have two shades in here at the moment; Posy Pink and Cognac. Posy Pink is a slight shade pinker than Swan, and it’s a lovely neutral shade for work. Cognac is almost brown but not quite there. It’s a nice neutral shade if you want something different.
Finally, I have one liquid lipstick from Estee Lauder. This is the Pure Colour Envy Lip Potion in Fragile Ego, which is a dark pink. I love it. It is a semi-matte finish, and if worn with a lip pencil is very long lasting on the lips.
So those are the lipsticks in my makeup bag at the moment. Which ones are in yours?
Bye for now!
