From Day to Play to Classy

Hi guys!

When playing around with some of the pigments currently in my makeup bag, I got inspired to do a day to night makeup look. However, as it is March of the Lipsticks month, I gave it a lipstick twist. I believe that lipstick is the one thing that can change up a makeup look instantly depending on the shade that you go for.

I created three different looks. Each one uses Bare Mineral’s Bare Skin Foundation, and the MAC Pigmented Eyeshadows in Old Gold and Melon. I drew a soft brown liner using any Brown eyeshadow to hand. I did use a MAC Extended Play Mascara along with Dior’s Overcurl for lashes. The only thing that changed was the lippie. So here we go.

This look is ideal for work. The nude lipstick softens the look making it a pretty daytime neutral face with just a subtle pop of colour on the eyes. For this look I used the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Make Your Move.

So you’re finished at the office and the girls fancy a drink out at a local bar? Best way to take that office girl to party girl? Swap the lippie to a colourful lip. I opted for a bright pink. It is Spring after all, and this lip lacquer from Revlon compliments the eyes brilliantly. It just brightens everything up. This is the shade Pink Ruby.

Classy

If you had an evening meal at a fancy restaurant,I wouldn’t wear something a bright as the Revlon lip lacquer. I would still keep things neutral but darken it up slightly with a gorgeous warm brown lipstick. If you are eating out, I’d go for something long lasting that doesn’t wear away at the first sight of a burger! This is the shade Stand Out from the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie line.

So those are the three looks. What ways do you change your look from Office to Party? Let me know.

Have a lovely day guys, and I’ll see you tomorrow.
