Can I start off by saying that I always had fair eyebrows? I was born with bleach blonde hair and my eyebrows matched it. They were so fair to the point that my friends used to joke that I had none.
The below photo is from when I was seventeen. Just before I actually started getting into makeup properly.
I used to grow out my fringe to hide them. I really hated my ‘invisible brows.’
When I started going to university I began to book appointments to tint and wax my brows. However, they were still too blonde to pick up much pigment, but enough to make them visible. Hurrah!
However, my brows either looked too thin or uneven. It has taken my last two appointments to get a shade and shape that I am happy with. My brows actually look thicker.
I go to the Benefit Brow Bars. All the girls who work on them (I’m sure men do too but I haven’t seen any male Brow Angels in my area) are amazing and very good at their job. Unfortunately the lady who normally does mine, Hannah, is transferring to Middlesbrough. It’s not too far, but it’s further than Sunderland. However, for a trip out every six weeks……
I think I can risk that journey for awesome brows!
