I will admit that this was actually the trickiest one to replicate considering it’s actually the one using the least makeup. Very odd. But here we go; here’s my attempt to replicate the Ingenue look from Charlotte Tilbury.
To begin, I primed my face using the Barry M Brightening Primer, blending this in with my fingers. Over this I then buffered some Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer all over my face, avoiding the eyes. On the eyes and any redness I applied some of Chanel’s Correcteur Perfections concealer. This is very similar to the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, but I find the Chanel one blends further. I merged this into the foundation using my Real Techniques blending sponge.
Since my eyes really are red and dry at the moment, I did double concealer with the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Compact in Beige/ Pale Yellow, blending it in with my fingers.
I did contour using my Chanel Soleil Tan, and bronzed up the rest of my face using Benefit’s Dew the Hoola bronzer. Both of these products together are really awesome and look really natural.
The model is wearing quite a pink blush so I swept a bit of Bare Minerals Blush in Swoon over the apples of my cheeks. To highlight, I swept some of Becca’s Champagne Pop over the tops of my cheek bones.
Eyes were very simple. There’s very little eyeshadow, if any on the model’s eyes and her eyebrows aren’t too defined. Therefore I filled in my brows slightly using Benefit’s Brow Zings. I did use a mixture of Delete and Discreet from my Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette, just to define my eyes a little bit.
For mascara, I used my Max Factor Masterpiece Transform Mascara in Black Brown for a more natural eye look. I really hope that one day Charlotte does design a brown mascara because some days, you don’t always fancy a black mascara.
On the lips, I first applied Revlon’s Ultra HD Matte Lip Colour in Obsession, and glossed this up to make the colour more sheer with Bare Mineral’s Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Heartbreaker. Together these came very close to the colour on the model’s lips.
So that is the second in my Charlotte Tilbury Iconic Looks dupe series. The next one will have more colour and products I promise. I’m thinking about doing the Glamour Muse or Dolce Vita next.
Bye for now!
