I love a good cream eyeshadow. They are such a quick and simple alternative to palettes on the odd occasion. And I adore the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks. I actually preferred these to the slightly pricier By Terry Ombre Blackstars. They are a stunning collection and blend like a dream!
However they are still on the spendy-spendy price range at £23 each. They really are a luxury item.
Yet I think that I have found a cheaper alternative that still have the amazing quality of the Laura Mercier eyeshadows. They cost £12.50 each and are available at Marks and Spencers. This is the new Rosie for Autograph collection. She has created a few cream eyeshadows in a gorgeous rose gold packaging. They look very similar to the caviar sticks and ombre blackstars.
They are extremely buttery to apply and blend beautifully. However they do dry pretty quickly so there isn’t a worry about creasing or transferring to the brow bone. They are amazing!
I have two shades: Movie Star Crush, which is a taupe shade, and Sparkle and Magic, which is a pretty white silver. I have been wearing both on their own or as bases for powder eyeshadow. They are stunning.
So if you are looking for cheaper alternatives to luxury cream shadow sticks, these are definitely worth a look!
Bye for now!
