My Zoella Makeup Bag can hold quite a lot of makeup! And so all of my makeup gets to see the light of day once in a while, I change up my bag quite a lot, and fairly regularly.
So here is my current set up at the moment. I won’t mention every product singularly otherwise you’ll be reading something the length of War and Peace! But anything that I want to make special mention to I will.
The Base: When it comes to base products I stick with products that I know work with my skin and won’t give me a reaction. For foundation I am flirting with two current favourites; the Laura Mercier Candleglow and my Old favourite Nars Sheer Glow. Both of these give a medium to full coverage look and look amazing on the skin. As the names suggest, they give a subtle radiant glow to the skin. For contouring and bronzing, I am keeping things simple with a Nars Contour Powder in the shade Paloma. I actually prefer this to the laguna bronzer. It has a grey-brown tone, which is more ideal for contouring than a full on golden bronzer. For blush, I have three. My favourite of the three though is The Body Shop’s Honey Dome in Pink. This blends beautifully and looks gorgeous on the apples of the cheeks. To highlight, I am going for more of a subtle glow than full on glitter cheeks these days. I am in love with the laura Mercier Matte Baked Face Powder. It just gives that nice subtle pop of glow to my cheek bones.
The Eyes: As the warmer months quickly approach I have been wearing more colour on my eyes. I have been having a moment with blues and greens, and mixing them up with a few neutrals. I have been loving the Nars Dual Intensity Eyeshadows at the moment. I have had these a while, and I have never gotten round to reviewing them. They are amazing though. I have two large palettes in the bag at the moment too; I have Bare Minerals Nudes Palette and Too Faced’s Sweet Peach palette. Both of these are gorgeous. I am in love. As for mascaras, I have really been enjoying the MAC Pro & Beyond Twisted Mascara. This is so weird but gives amazing length to lashes.
The Lips: Oh my, lipstick! I really could not decide what to keep in this bag for lips, so I have twenty-five. Yes, you read that correct. I have twenty five individual lip products in my makeup bag. I did go a little crazy over Nyx opening in the Metro Centre earlier in the month, so I have a fair few nudes (and browns and reds and oranges) from here. I have wanted to try Nyx Cosmetics out for a while so I did a fairly extensive shop here. I do have one Nars Audacious Lipstick in the shade Barbara. The makeup artist Sophie used this on me and I fell in love with the colour, so I now have it. I do have a fair few MAC products in the bag too. I love the shade So Chaud and Whirl. I really can’t wait to experiment with them all.
So that is everything in my makeup bag. What are your current favourites?
Bye for now!
