Mid-monthly Favourites

May is rapidly reaching it’s end and I cannot believe how quick it’s going. So much is happening this month in my life that I haven’t had much of a chance to write the posts that I want lately.

However, I have got a few mid month favourites to share so far. What have you been loving lately?

For my face, there have been a few changes. I have recently been trying out a new foundation at the end of April and throughout May. I really love the finish and longevity of the Laura Mercier Candleglow Foundation. It truly is beautiful, and as I stated in my review, completely worth the higher price tag.

My blush bag has also seen a few changes lately. I have been wearing a lot more paler dusty rose shades including Nars’ Impassioned, which is gorgeous and not as light as it appears in the pan. Honestly, if you have paler skin tones, get ahold of this whilst it is still in stock. It’s beautiful! My other blush favourite is a cream product. I love the Body Shop’s Honey Dome Blush; it is so pigmented and such a natural pop of colour to the cheeks, without being a nightmare to blend. It’s absolutely beautiful!

I do have a new mascara favourite in the Nars Audacious Mascara. This gives very thick and long lashes, I was really shocked during my first go at trying this. It’s amazing and don’t be put off by the crazy looking wand; I am yet to poke myself in the eye yet, and I’m really clumsy with mascara wands!

As for lips; I am having a moment for liquid lipsticks. I am really loving the No7 Stay Perfect Lip Lacquer in Nectar. The colour is beautiful and very complimentary to my skin tone. I hate the clear gloss though. It actually melts down my face, which is a look very tricky to pull off! So I do tend to just wear the lip shade on it’s own without the glossy overcoat.

As for eyeshadow; I have been wearing a lot more colour on my eyes as the warmer weather approaches. I love the Nars Dual Intensity Eyeshadows. They are so pigmented and look stunning on the eyes wet or dry. They are beautiful. I do have a palette favourite in the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette. This has got such beautiful colours in it that blend beautifully! It’s absolutely gorgeous!

In the non-beauty world, I have been obsessing over Once Upon a Time. I am onto series 4 on Netflix and I am loving it. I don’t know how I feel about Elsa and Anna being dragged into it but I love the storylines and how these fairytale characters react with our world. It’s pretty clever, and I really love Captain Hook. He is so charming and handsome. He’s actually currently my phone background!

So those are some current favourites. There will be more at the end of the month, but I quite like giving an insight into what I enjoy at the beginning of the month because by the end, it’s bound to have changed and these things may be pushed aside.

What are your current favourites guys?

Bye for now!
