The Rock Chick is probably my favourite palette, and I love the look, except for the concealer lips lip colour. So in my attempt I did warm up the lip colour slightly. Other than that I did keep things pretty authentic.
So, without further introduction, here is my attempt at recreating the Rock Chick Iconic Look.
For the face, I used my bottle of Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation. I did use that website to find my shade, and I must say Sand it a really good match for me! Under my eyes I used my ever faithful tube of Bare Minerals Bareskin Concealer. I set this in place with the Makeup Forever HD Powder.
To contour I buffed light layers of my Nars Paloma Bronzer under my cheek bones, building up the definition slowly. For Blush I used the Art Deco Blush Couture (omg I love the packaging of this brand) and finished off by highlighting with the Art Deco Arctic Beauty Highlighter.
As for the eyes, I kept things pretty simple. I filled in my brows with the HD Eye & Brow Palette in Foxy with the medium brown shade.
I then took the Prime shade from Charlotte Tilbury’s Rock Chick palette all across the lid up to the brow. I then took the darkest Smoke shade into the crease, buffing this out a lot!
For the eyeliner, I used my Dose of Colours Eyedeal Duo on a liner brush to create a slight flick, smoking this out with a mixture of Enhance and Smoke. I patted a bit more Enhance on the outer lid and buffered this to a slight sheen.
On the lower lash line I took the Smoke shade across the entire lower lash line.
I finished off my eyes using the Fairy Drops Mascara, which I actually really like. I love the wand!
I firstly lined my lips using Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk, and went over this with Gerard Cosmetics’ Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Serenity. This is the shade that Manny MUA created for them. It’s gorgeous!
And that is the finished look. I hope you enjoyed this and the final three will be released soon.
Have a lovely day guys!
