A Long-Lasting Drugstore Lip Product

This is not new news, but Boots now stock Nyx instore, not just online. Beauty lovers squeal in delight country-wide!

One of the products that have really impressed me are the Soft Matte Lip Creams. The colours range from nudes to a bright blue. There are a fair few shades in the range, and they all seem to be named after capital cities, which I love.

These are really long-lasting and so comfortable to wear on the lips. They are matte but they don’t have that drying texture some matte lip products have. I know some people do have issues with smudging with these, and I’m not denying that that could happen, but I haven’t noticed that on me yet. Maybe my lips are that dry, they cling onto the product more. I don’t know. All I will say is that I love these liquid lippies, and for the low price tag of £5.50, they’re totally worth it!

Below I have swatched all the colours and given my thoughts on each one.

Prague, Berlin, Monte Carlo, London, Antwerp, Amsterdam,Manila, Milan, Rome, San Paulo

Prague: Prague is a gorgeous berry shade. This is one of my favourites; my obsession for all things berry continues. This is just such a stunning shade.

Berlin: The 90s throwback is strong with this one. This is a true brown and it looks beautiful.

Monte Carlo: I love a true Marilyn Monroe appropriate red. This is absolutely gorgeous and looks amazing paired with a feline flick eyeliner.

London: This is a nude, which actually doesn’t look as beige on my lips as it does on the swatch. I will try and wear this in an upcoming look one day. This isn’t my favourite in the collection, but it’s still a nice shade I bring out once in a while for more subtle looks.

Antwerp: Antwerp is a pretty coral pink. This one is perfect for in the Summer. It’s just so pretty and girly.

Amsterdam: This is actually my favourite one. Amsterdam is such a gorgeous pretty hybrid of red and pink. It’s beautiful.

Manila:Manila is a fuschia pink. It’s beautiful if you are wearing a neutral eye look. This shade will really make your lips stand out.

Milan: This is a true coral shade. I think it looks beautiful and will be perfect for those hot Summer holidays. I’m not going anywhere yet, but I’m still going to rock this shade in the UK.

Rome: I love all things Italy and I really want to visit Rome one of these days. This is a beautiful Dolce Vita-esque warm brown shade. Again, one of my favourites. It’s absolutely stunning.

San Paulo: This is a darker pink shade. It’s absolutely gorgeous and looks amazing during the day or night. It’s not one I wear often, but I really should!

Which lipsticks do you own from this collection?

Have a lovely day guys!
