Breaking Free of my Comfort Zone

I am 100% in love with the YSL Vinyl Couture Mascaras. They give lovely fluttery lashes and don’t look weird even in their bright coloured-ness. I love the blue mascara, which I have used a fair amount so far this month.

I came across the pink one last week and wasn’t too sure if this would make my eyes look sore. However, I had some beauty points on my Debenhams card, and bought this on a whim in the attempt to break out of my comfort zone. Bright pinks scare me slightly. I like the nude pinks but bright neon pinks scare me. This mascara in it’s clear, pretty tube is definitely a neon pink. And from my experience with the blue mascara, these are very pigmented. What you see is what you get.

Luckily, my whim paid off and I love this mascara. It’s a very cool shade of pink that looks amazing with purple and lilac eyeshadow. This look probably wouldn’t be out of place at a festival either if you are looking for inspiration for any upcoming events.

I did want to share the rest of the look today with you guys, but if you are on the hunt for a new mascara (or seven) these are worth checking out!
