As scary as this sounds, it’s almost September. And with that comes orange leaves, cooler air and darker nights.

Even though it is technically still Summer, I wanted to do a quick tutorial using products that wouldn’t look out of place in the Summer or Autumn. The eyes were kept quite neutral with a hint of sparkle, but I really wanted a rich plum lip.

So here we go!

Face

For the base I took Bobbi Brown’s Intensive Skin Serum Foundation.I needed two drops of this to get a medium coverage on my skin. For concealer, I blended in Too Faced’s Born This Way Concealers over blemishes and under my eyes. This was all set into place using the Dior Diorskin Forever and Ever Powder.

To add some colour to my face, I took the Nars Paloma Bronzer and buffed this into my usual figure of three shape on both sides of my face. For blush, I have just bought the split pan blush and highlighters from Becca. I used the Prosecco Pop and Pamplemousse one for both highlight and blush. They were just really pretty products and blended out beautifully!

Eyes

For my brows, I actually didn’t need to do that much since I have just had them reshaped and tinted. The scary thing about having natural fair brows is that you never realise how thick your brows have grown! Today, I added a quick few swipes of the Benefit Precisely Brows Pencil. This glides over hairs beautifully, giving an awesome natural look.

For eyeshadow, I took two MAC Paintpots. I first patted Constructivist all over the lid, blending out the edges. I then took Indianwood and applied this directly over the top and along my lower lash line. I blended this all out to give it more of a softer look.

To finish off the eyes, I applied a few layers of Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara.

Lips

To finish off the look, I added the statement bold lip in the form of Charlotte Tilbury’s Hel’s Bells Hot Lips Lipstick. It’s such a gorgeous colour and perfect for the cooler months when they arrive.

So that is my Autumnal transitional makeup look. How will you be changing up your makeup routines ready for the cooler days?

Have a lovely day guys. Bye for now!
