Lancome Teint Idol Cushion Foundation

I have been in a bit of a foundation rut as of late. The ones that I own just weren’t exciting me.

I have read quite a lot about the Teint Idol Cushion foundation over the past month, and the majority of the reviews have been good; some saying that it is ideal for dry skin. My skin has been really dry lately so I thought that I’d give it a try.

I have used this non-stop for the past month. It has quickly become a favourite!

For the initial product this retails at Β£30 at Boots, and you get the really pretty case as well as your foundation insert. From then on you can pay Β£19 for the refillable inserts, which would make it one of the cheapest high end foundations on the market.

I apply this with a buffing brush, and it applies beautifully, giving a high coverage look without a cakey feel. This lasts a really long time on the skin, although it doesn’t hold up really well in hot weather. On a regular work day, this is fine!

As for the reason that it was bought? This works brilliantly with dry skin. It covers it really well and doesn’t cling to the dry patches. It gives a gorgeous, flawless finish.

I wear the shade 025 which is a perfect match for my skin tone. There are a fair few shades available so there’s bound to be a shade that will match you.

What are your thoughts on this foundation?

Have a lovely day guys!
