Game of Thrones Tutorials: Stark

wp-1474539646988.jpg

Goodbye to the funky colours of the Targaryen’s, welcome to the steely greys of the North.

This Stark look is based on the direwolf sigil and it is pretty much the traditional smoky eye.

Face

Since the Bare Pro was such a fail, I went back to using the Lancome teint Idol Cushion Foundation, and applied my usual Bare Minerals Bareskin Concealer under my eyes. I set this all into place using the Bare Minerals Bare Pro.

I contoured slightly using my Liz Earle Healthy Glow Bronzer, buffing this out a lot. To keep things on the cool side, I buffed my Urban Decay Rapture blush into my cheek bones. For a change, I didn’t use highlighter.

Eyes

For brows, I used my Benefit Precisely brows pencil, filling them in slightly, trying to keep the natural shape of my brows. I still wanted them to look quite wild.

For the eyes, I’m really sorry but I can’t remember what order I used the shadows in, but the only palette that I used was the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette, which is amazing! I used all of the greys to create this smoky eye, and the matte shades were all used as transition shades.

For mascara, I first used the urban Decay Subversion Mascara, followed by the Perversion mascara on my upper lashes. On my lower ones I used the Clinique Flutter to Full Mascara on the lightest setting.

Lips

To finish off the look, I applied Smashbox’s Safe Word lipstick to my lips. This is a very cool toned brown, which really complimented the eyes.

I hope you enjoyed this look, and I will see you tomorrow with a Lannister look.

Bye for now!
