The Lannisters are one of my favourite families in the series; I love Tyrion and Jamie. So today I have based this golden glam look on their family. They were one of the richest families in Westeros, so I have based this look on Lannister Gold.
For my foundation, I used an old favourite, my Urban Decay Naked Skin, buffing this into the skin with a buffing brush. Under my eyes, well you know the drill with that! Do I ever use anything else?
To set everything, I used my Dior Diorskin Forever and Ever Powder.
As for the cheeks, I wanted things to look really glam yet sophisticated. Therefore, I used my Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow to conout, followed my Bare Minerals Loose Blush in Golden Gate. To highlight, I went in quite generously with Becca’s Champagne Pop.
Compared to my Stark look where I couldn’t remember what shades went where (sorry again guys), this one is relatively simple.
I filled in my eyebrows, giving them a definitely arc using the Benfit Ka-Brow gel.
On the lid itself, I used the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette to slowly build up colour in the crease. I stopped at the dark brown shade. On the actual lid I took MAC’s Amber lights and applied this using a damp brush to the lid. I did pack on quite a bit of colour as I wanted this to pop. I mimicked this along the lower lash line, using a touch of MAC’s Mythology on the outer corner to define it slightly.
To thicken my upper lashes again, I drew a thin line of brown using the Lancome Grandiose Liquid Liner, followed by my Urban Decay Perversion/Subversion duo. To define my lower lashes I used the Clinique Flutter to Full Mascara on the medium setting.
To highlight my brow bone, I used a small amount of Benefit’s High Brow Glow, blending it out with my finger.
For the lips, I combined two reds. For a base I applied Avon’s Matte Finish Lipstick in Wild Cherry. I then went over the top of this with Clinique’s Colour Pop Lipstick in Passion Pop. Together I though these looked pretty magical.
And that is my Lannister inspired tutorial. I’m going to do a few different posts before tackling my final two tutorials. I doubt that I could get away with doing a Bolton look for work. Yes, I am basing it on the flayed man. Just thought that I could have some fun with it!
See you next time!
