Getting Naked

Apologies for the damp hair in the above photo, but I have been loving the way my hair dries naturally at the moment; it seems to get a bit of curl. But enough about my hair, and onto yet another eyeshadow palette.

Makeup companies seem to be all about mattes at the moment. Bare Minerals, Urban Decay, Body Shop, Smashbox and many others are bringing out more and more matte palettes.

Urban Decay’s newest release has got to be one of my favourites. There is a mix of warm tones and cool tones, which make it an ideal palette to keep in your makeup bag to use as transition shades, or for a really lovely smoky eye look, which I’ve gone for today.

As in all Urban Decay eyeshadows, these ones blend out beautifully and have a lot of pigment in them. I love it.

This retails at £38.50 and has such a beautiful outer packaging. I know some people aren’t that keen since it’s a different shape to the more traditional Naked collection. However, I don’t mind. It stands out and looks gorgeous. It actually fits into my makeup bag really easily too.

I must admit, that I have used this everyday in my routine so far and I’m not sick of it yet.

What are your thoughts on this new palette?

Have a lovely day guys, and take care.
