Traditional Grey Smoky Eye Makeup

Hi guys.

On some days you simply can’t be bothered to be creative and paint really glitzy looks on your face. On some days, the old favourites, the tried and tested best looks are ideal.

On this day, I used the Urban Decay Ultimate Naked Basics Palette, using the cool tones, which I actually haven’t touched much, to create the traditional grey and black smoky eye. This was the first eyeshadow look that I began doing once I really got into makeup; an oldie but always a goodie.

I did team up the eyes with a nude blush and lipstick; Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Video, and Chanel’s Rouge Cocoa Lipstick in Adrienne.  I loved how they all teamed together.

I still continue to be impressed with the Ultimate Basics Palette; it blends beautifully and is so versatile. You could essentially keep it in your makeup bag just for transition shades if you wanted to.

Hope you guys are enjoying yourselves today and I will see you tomorrow.

Bye for now!
