My Current Go To Base

My skin has actually been feeling really good at the moment so I have reduced the amount of products going on my face at one time. Skincare, I really only use a moisturiser, eye cream and lip balm.

When it comes to the makeup, there are a few products that I have been loving to really make my skin glow and look healthy.

For primer, I have been using the Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer. This is such a beautiful product! It gives such a lot of luminosity to the skin and really helps any foundation look less flat. I have really been loving it at the moment.

As for foundation, I’ve actually gone back to a drugstore product. I have truly loved the L’Oreal True Match Foundation. It gives full coverage without looking cakey or over the top. It does give a lovely natural glow to the skin, which I have really wanted at he moment.

To conceal, I have been using a mixture of three products; Collection Lasting Perfection, Bare Minerals Stroke of Light and YSL Touche Eclat. All three are really good for under the eyes and hiding blemishes. Well, maybe not the Touche Eclat. This is more more brightening up under my eyes. I mix this in with Stroke of Light to give my eyes a really lovely natural glow.

Since my Dior Powder finally ran out, I had to find something else. This Bourjois Product is very similar, although has a very strong scent. However this does die down after a while. I don’t know the name of it, but it’s an illuminating face powder which does add subtle particles of glitter that do help matte foundations look less flat. It’s such a beautiful powder.

What are your current go-to base products?

Have a lovely day guys!
