Feyre Makeup Tutorial

I was a survivor. And I was strong. I would not be weak, or helpless again.

I would not, could not be broken.

Hi everyone! How are you all today? The third installment of my A Court of Thorns and Roses series is my take on the main protagonist, Feyre Archeron. I absolutely love her character and the lessons that she can teach young people about themselves.

I am going to try and get all of my tutorials out before May 2nd, and there are loads more to come!

I do hope that even if you have no interest in this series, you will still love this look as a simple, everyday glowy makeup look.

Feyre really is one of those characters that shines with inner beauty. And she does have a certain glow about her in later chapters. So before using foundation, I massaged a small amount of the Laura Mercier Radiant Glow Primer into my face. Over the top of this I applied the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation.

I had just finished a night shift before doing this, so I needed something to cover my under-eye circles. I applied a generous amount of the Superdrug BB Eye Cream, and set this with Makeup Revolution’s Banana Luxe Powder. I used the excess to set the foundation slightly too. I still wanted this to be quite a dewy look.

To bronze my face slightly, I used my Dior Nude Air Glow Powder, dusting this in a figure of three around my face. I then took the Nars Dual Intensity Blush in Liberty, concentrating this on my cheekbones, using the excess on the apples of my cheeks.

Finally, to highlight I used the Model’s Own Sculpt and Glow Highlighter in Golden Sand. This was inspired slightly by a certain chapter in the book, which I won’t spoil for anyone.

The eyes were probably the simplest part of this look. I filled in my brows using the Benefit Goof Proof Pencil, and set them using the Fleur de Force Brow Tamer clear gel.

On my lids, I wanted to keep Feyre’s look very natural so I dipped a fluffy blending brush into Charlotte Tilbury’s Eyes to Mesmerise in Marie Antoinette and blended this out to be relatively sheer. I just wanted a slight pop of something on the lids. I used some of this to enhance my lower lash line too.

For mascara, I used a mix of the Benefit Roller Lash mascara and Urban Decay’s Perversion.

For the lipstick I used Laura Mercier’s Creme Smooth LipstickĀ in Maya.

And that was the finished look. Next time I will be doing one of the Courts. What have been your thoughts on this series so far?

Have a lovely day guys, and I’ll see you tomorrow!
