You know nothing about who I am, and what I’ve done and what I want.
We’re onto the final character in the series, and I left one of my favourites to last. Nesta started off as being one of my least favourite characters however as the series went on, she is one of my favourites; definitely in the top 10. She is very loyal to her family, especially the younger Elain.
So here is the penultimate makeup tutorial. The last one is going to take me a little while to plan.
For Nesta’s face, I wanted her to wear a matte foundation. She is used to living a life of luxury and struggles to come to terms with her family’s poverty, therefore I wanted her to be quite glam.
For the foundation, I used the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation, blending it with a brush for a change. Then under my eyes I used the Urban Decay Naked Concealer.
Since the foundation didn’t really need setting, I used a small amount of Bare Minerals Orignal Concealer to set the liquid concealer.
Nesta is described as having quite sharp features, however I am definitely more round in the face than her. Therefore I contoured myself some cheek bones using the Chanel Soleil de Tan, buffing the product upwards.
As for blush, I used an old favourite; nars Orgasm, keeping it quite soft around my cheek bones and apples of my cheeks. Then to highlight, I used the Dior Illuminating Powder in 01. This is such a beautiful highlighter! It has been well-loved.
To finish things off I spritzed my face with a light layer of the Smashbox Primer Water.
I wanted Nesta’s eyes to once again be matte, therefore I used some of my Nars Dual Intensity Eyeshadows.
I first took the shade Topless as an all over the lid shade, buffing this up to my brow bone. I then slowly built up the shade Tan Lines in my crease. I didn’t want anything to be too intense in this look. Finally, across the lid I swept a light layer of Kari; a light mauve shade.
To finish off the eyes I put a couple of layers of mascara using Rimmel’s Volume Shaker. I’m still not used to how heavy this is!
I kept my eyebrows quite thick, drawing them slightly larger than normal. I used the Bare Minerals Brow Styler and set them in place using Fleur de Force’s Brow Tamer gel.
For lipstick, I swept a light layer of Bare Minerals Gen Nude Matte Lip Colour in Juju onto my mouth. I really need to figure out a less weird way of describing putting on lipstick!
And those are my three Archeron sisters complete. I do think that I could have some Elain more justice, so I might redo her again one day, but for now I’m done. Which is your favourite makeup look?
I hope that you’re all having a lovely day!
