The Blush Tag

As some of you know, I was a late bloomer to blush. However, these days it is something that I enjoy reaching for on a daily basis, and when I saw this tag I had to take part.

I’m not going to tag anyone in particular, but if you are intrigued by this tag, do take part; I would love to see your answers.

Best Packaging

My favourite packaging is definitely that of the Urban Decay After Hour Blushers. It just looks so cool, and I love you you can see the actual shade of the blush through the net design on the lid. It’s quite a unique style and I love it!

Prettiest Colour

I actually have a few in this category. However my top three are the Lancome Cushion Blush in Sorbet Grenadine, Bare Minerals Blush in Golden Gate and Models Own Rock n Rosy in Sienna. All of these shades look amazing and give such a healthy natural flush to the cheeks.

Most Pigmented

This definitely belongs to the Models Own Rock n Rosy Blushers. You just need to dab your brush really delicately to get just the right amount of product to ad some colour to your face. I do love the formula though, it’s so creamy and blendable.

Everyday Blush

On an everyday basis, I don’t wear a lot of colour on my face. I tend to go for really natural shades such as Nars Blush in Impassioned or Bare Minerals’ Vintage Peach. Both are beautiful shades that bring me a lot of joy. I know that I can trust them to always look amazing.

Least Used

My least used blushers tend to go on a journey to Ebay or given to my Mam. However, at the moment my least used blush is actually Clinique’s Colour Pop Blush in Ginger Pop. I love the colour of this and I do want to use it more. I am going to make more of an effort to use this since it is such a pretty shade.

Worst Packaging

I mentioned this in one of my first YouTube videos over 2 years ago, and I still hate the packaging. Although I do love the product. I hate the packaging of the Too Faced Love Flush blushers. I just find it so tacky and cheap compared to some of the other Too Faced products. The writing peeled off after one week too. Not the greatest choice of packaging in my opinion.

Favourite Brand

Again, I have a few. Nars, Bare Minerals, Models Own and Urban Decay make some amazing blush shades that suit all skin tones. They blend beautifully and are richly pigmented.

Least Practical

I’m going to put the PS Contour Kit here. There is a blush in this palette which is such a pretty colour but the fallout gets everywhere. It’s so dusty but the shade it beautiful. However I can’t wear it too often because the dustiness of it does tend to set my chest off in a coughing fit.

Most Expensive

My most expensive Blush is Charlotte Tilbury’s Cheek to Chic blush. These cost £30. And although they are expensive, they are worth it. The packaging it beautiful and the formula is gorgeous.

Least Expensive

These are some of my favourites and only cost £4.99. These are the Models Own Rock n Rosy Matte Blushers. For the price, I actually prefer these to some higher end blush shades. They are gorgeous.

Special Occasion

On special occassions, I actually reach for the shades The Secret is Out or The Indecent Propsoal from Bare Mineral’s Ready Blush collection. Both are very similar in tone. They are pink-toned mauve shades and really stunning without being over the top. I actually wear these quite a bit on dates or for birthdays. They are beautiful.

Best Blush Brush

My favourite blush brush is from the Morphe Gun Metal Collection. I’m unsure of the name of the actual brush, but it’s really soft and applies the perfect amount of blush to my cheeks. It’s gorgeous!

If you do take part in this tag, please let me know so I can read your answers too.

Have a lovely day guys!
